Activities & Events

Convenience and a fresh new look, bringing nature indoors.  Thank you for your patience as our construction and design worker teams bring us all a fabulous newly renovated interior at Lynn Valley Centre.  All tenants remain open throughout this renovation time.

As we conduct extensive renovations to the interior public washrooms, temporary public washrooms are currently nearby but outside the Northeast mall entrance in large trailers near the door.

The scary and infamous Haunted House is returning to Lynn Valley Centre.  Trick or Treating on Halloween, October 31st is for children 12 and under only from 4-5pm at participating stores and services.

GRAND RE- OPENING EVENT – upon completion of the interior renovation

Plan to join us at Lynn Valley Centre as we grandly debut the new interior renovation at an official ribbon-cutting ceremony with District of North Vancouver Mayor Walton and community friends followed by a special unveiling of a new sculpture entitled “The Return” depicting the migration of salmon.   “Bringing the outside in” is the design inspiration of the new interior decor and on Saturday, November 18th from 11am to 2pm you can enjoy a morning reception before the official ribbon-cutting and art unveiling at 12noon.  Lynn Valley Centre will be bustling with excitement and activities that day to celebrate with you.  This is a family event so bring the kids and enjoy the Grand Opening Party scheduled for Saturday, November 18, 2017.

(Opening event date subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances in the work project.)

Valentine’s Day crafts at Lynn Valley Centre in February.

FEBRUARY, DONATION NEWS:  North Shore’s HARVEST PROJECT benefits from 2016 Christmas fundraising with $7,786 donation from Lynn Valley Centre.

The Christmas Train Ride that operated at Lynn Valley Centre from late November through December was very successful for the centre’s charitable fundraising effort. Combined with an additional amount from Westlynn Bakery sales of train cookies, Harvest Project will receive $7,786 in February to prepare for the busy Spring season ahead.

Gary and Joe from Harvest Project welcome the donation from Lynn Valley Centre presented by Shopping Centre & Property Manager, Lorelei Guthrie.

We are all grateful and thank you for your support of the $2 train ride and of the unique and tasty idea to make train cookies at our beloved Westlynn Bakery.  Cookie sales began in December and often sold out.  Now we hope to build on their popularity next Christmas.

Watch for more information on how Lynn Valley Centre will endeavour to continue to support Harvest Project this year.  And don’t forget that their charity Bin is located at Save-On-Foods at Lynn Valley Centre, another strong supporter of Harvest Project.

We all believe in the positivity and results when ‘extending a hand up, not a hand out’ through Harvest Project to help those who need some assistance on the North Shore.  We are grateful and thank all Lynn Valley Centre shoppers for your continued support.
